Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of Oakland Baptist Church exists to help 6th–12th grade students take meaningful steps toward a deeper faith in Christ.

We want every student at Oakland to believe this truth: you are known, you are loved, and you matter.

At Oakland, students have the opportunity to connect through weekly gatherings, special events, and retreats that encourage fellowship, worship, discipleship, and mission.

Weekly Activities

• Sunday Night Youth Group – A time of fun, teaching, and connection, complete with a shared meal each week.

• Sunday School – Bible study and discussion on Sunday mornings.

Retreats & Special Events

Our youth participate in several retreats and trips throughout the year designed to help students grow spiritually and build meaningful relationships: Fall Retreat, Ski Retreat, Choir Retreat, and Summer Mission Experiences/Camps.

Everyone is welcome and we invite all students to come experience a place where they belong and can grow in their walk with Christ.
