Worship at OBC

 10:30AM in the Sanctuary

At Oakland, worship is grounded in tradition but shaped by the life of our community today. Some Sundays feel deeply rooted and familiar; others feel a little more creative and conversational. Most weeks, it’s a blend of both. You’ll hear scripture read, prayers shared, voices singing together, and music led by choir, piano, guitar, organ, handbells, and other musicians from our church family.

We value worship that is thoughtful, authentic, and participatory — the kind of space where people of all ages can show up honestly, ask questions, reflect, sing, listen, and belong.

Children are part of worship, not separate from it. They help lead in different ways throughout the year, and during the service, preschool and elementary-aged children are invited forward for a children’s moment connected to the theme of the day. Childcare is available for children ages 4 and younger.

Whether church has always been part of your life or you’re simply curious and looking for a place to begin again, you are welcome here. Come as you are, and we’ll help you find your way.

Our worship is streamed on YouTube each week beginning at 10:30AM.  If you are unable to join us in person, you can watch live (or later) by clicking here.
