We invite all to worship
Oakland is a Christian church in the Baptist tradition. People of all denominational backgrounds have found a home here. We invite you to join us in worship at the corner of Oakland and Ebenezer and India Hook.
Oakland offers two distinct worship experiences each Sunday morning:
Creative Worship — 9:00 am
We gather in the Family Life Center for an intimate and creative worship experience. Guitars and keyboard often accompany congregational singing.
Traditional Worship — 11:00 am
We gather for worship in our beautiful sanctuary surrounded by sacred symbols of the faith. Worship includes hymns and songs accompanied by organ and piano.
ONE Worship
Periodically the whole congregation joins together for ONE Worship. This worship experience varies in style and in location — sometimes in the sanctuary, sometimes in the Family Life Center.
