Being the Presence of Christ
Jesus calls us to minister to people's needs, whatever they might be in Rock Hill and around the globe. We encourage everyone to be personally involved in living out our faith. The Oakland Baptist Ministry Center is located at 1021 Charlotte Avenue (a few blocks from the church). The Ministry Center provides clothing, household items, toiletries and food for those who are in crisis situations. We also partner with Habitat for Humanity, 
Family Promise, Regional AIDS Interfaith Network, Palmetto Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, Children's Attention Home, and HOPE in our community. Our church provides opportunities each year for mission immersion experiences. Recently, we have traveled to Allendale, South Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, New York City, Spain, North Africa, Belgium, and Haiti.
