The SCCEN is a network of Christian educators and lay persons committed to promoting Christian education trends, issues, and events for CBF of SC churches. The specific purposes of the SCCEN are as follows:

• To conduct an annual educational event for laity.
• To conduct an annual professional development event for Christian educators.
• To provide networking and fellowship among Christian educators and lay persons.
• To stay abreast of cutting edge trends in Christian education.
• To inform CBF churches of Christian education trends, issues, and events.
