Oakland Baptist Church maintains strong ties and active involvement with the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and state organization, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina.  Oakland also maintains nominal ties with the Southern Baptist Convention and allows individual church members to support its mission efforts.
