Nurturing Your Relationship with God
God invites all people into relationship. At Oakland, we offer a variety of opportunities for all ages to nurture that relationship - from small group Bible studies to Sunday School classes to spiritual formation retreats. Oakland is a place where you can take root and grow.
We offer a number of small group Bible studies for all ages. These groups meet to study scripture, pray and support each other. Some of the groups are gender based groups. Most of these groups meet weekly and follow various curriculums.
Oakland provides Sunday School for all ages. From babies to senior adults, we have over 35 different classes. Sunday School starts each week at 9:45. Our classes have excellent Bible teaching and you will find our classes warm and inviting.
Opportunities for spiritual growth happen on Oakland's many retreats. Our teenagers attend retreats several times a year and often retreat with other church youth groups. We offer marriage and women's retreats each fall. On each of these retreats, we reflect on our relationship with God and work to strengthen our relationships with each other.
